How to use "Keywords" to find pictures
How to use "KEYWORDS"
---------------------------------
As of 2/17/2010 there are over 46 galleries and over 8000 pictures of the USA U-18 Team. Way too many to search through to find pictures of your player. Since the middle of December, I have been adding the players name as a "Keyword" to each of the pictures that he appears in. This means that you can create a virtual gallery that has only the pictures that you players appears in.
For example, lets say I wanted to view all the pictures of Jack Campbell.
Step 1) Find one picture of Jack Campbell in a recent gallery and click on it so a large version of the picture appears on the right side of the screen.
Step 2) Underneath the large picture on the right, find the "keywords" list. The keyword lists all the keywords associated with this picture.
Step 3) Click on the keyword "campbell"
Step 4) The screen will refresh and you will be presented with a virtual gallery that only has pictures of Jack Campbell
Notes:
1) The most recent pictures will be at the beginning of the gallery and the oldest pictures at the end of the gallery.
2) In the upper left hand corner, you can narrow you search by adding a keyword to the picture selection criteria. (e.g. find "5 Nations" on the "combine with line, click on it and the gallery will
refresh with only pictures of Jack Campbell at the 5 Nations tournament.
3) Special Keywords:
a) "Team" - displays all team related pictures. "Team" pictures will not be displayed in the "Campbell" virtual gallery.
b) "Rink" - displays pictures of the various rinks the team has played in.
c) "Mascot" - displays pictures of the various team mascots.
4) I am slowly adding player keywords to the galleries uploaded between September and December so that by the end of the year you will be able to view all the pictures of you player for the
entire year.
